Very interesting idea. I have been interested in 2mm for some time but never taken the plunge. I love the 2mm terrain look. Your idea of clear bases is pretty cool.

That's what I do too. It gives a decent "heft" to the unit as well as a footprint which is right.

BRILLIANT! Just absolutely brilliant! Using ancient pike units makes so much sense as they are bulkier than the renaissance pikes. The transparent paper is also a far better and much cheaper idea than just basing them traditionally. I am definitely going to keep my eye on this in the near future.

Wonderful. I've been very impressed with ideas on the "2mm and small scale wargaming" Facebook group. Now I see this !
2mm got a real boost 2017,2018 looks to surpass that :-)
