Does your spouse play miniature wargames? |

I love Ed's flat, one word answer, "No." I'd have to say no, also. I got my wife to play Dungeons & Dragons once, long ago. Since then, I can sometimes get her to help with color combinations (I've been characterized by a Famous Art Critic as possessed of "The very height of . . . bad taste.") Grelber |

I tried, but no. Definitely no. |

Yes, yes she is. Even paints her own figures. She is currently working on an Egyptian army for Hail Caesar and has a couple of very nice Age of Sigmar armies. In fact, she paints better than I do…sigh. |

No It doesn't count if she plays fantasy or board games. Lots of gals play those. But historical gaming, that's a big no! |
warwell | 16 Dec 2017 3:19 a.m. PST |
No. She has played an occasional Command & Colors game (and whooped me) but she's not particularly interested. She does like board games – Ticket to Ride is a favorite |

No, the only game she ever liked to play was Spellmaker back in the 1980s. |
ColCampbell | 16 Dec 2017 8:48 a.m. PST |
No, but she does tolerate my "madness." She also consults on color combinations once in a while. Jim |
Kevin C | 16 Dec 2017 8:50 a.m. PST |
No, but she does play board games. Also, it looks as though my kids will be wargamers some day. |
Idaho Wargamer | 16 Dec 2017 9:02 a.m. PST |
She'll play once in a great while, if I set up a wargame and help her through it a bit. She's however really enjoyed the card system for Command and Colors and has even suggested playing again at a later dates. She enjoys board games and loves playing D&D, both of which we do with the kids. Of course its taken 28 years to get her to this point so I guess I better keep her around now. |

No, but she paints the initial coat on horses and does basing for me sometimes. We do hobby together, she will do puzzles and I will paint. |
jambo1 | 16 Dec 2017 10:20 a.m. PST |
She supports me in what I do but not a gamer, so no. |
Toaster | 16 Dec 2017 11:24 a.m. PST |
She's an occasional naval wargamer and modelmaker. |
PzGeneral | 16 Dec 2017 1:10 p.m. PST |
Sometime. Small skermish games….. |
etotheipi | 16 Dec 2017 1:57 p.m. PST |
Yes. On game day and a couple times a month, SWMBO will play. She does not convert and paint minis or make terrain, though those things are well in Her skill set. |
foxweasel | 16 Dec 2017 6:22 p.m. PST |
No, she views it as infantile childish nonsense, she knows me so well! |

No but she is a wargaming supporter. Whenever we have a game at the house she will do lunch for us and will usually include baking cookies, etc., as snacks . She also goes to Huzzah with we every year and is content to hang around the hotel while I game (so long as we go out to dinner both nights). I am very lucky… |
coopman | 17 Dec 2017 9:40 a.m. PST |
No. But, she tolerates my doing it and that means a lot to me. |
arthur1815 | 17 Dec 2017 2:55 p.m. PST |
No, but she does just about tolerate it. |

Yes. She plays and runs pulp games. She even won an award at Cold Wars a few years back for her Pennsylvania Pete Tomb adventure. I am a lucky guy. Phil |

Not a gamer, but she used to enjoy playing Battle Masters, and regularly whooped me, too! These days she avidly supports my hobby, encouraging me to plan game nights with my group and helping me find good deals on games, figs and accessories. Although the other day I did suggest a stop to pick up some more AWI plastics and she said, "Don't you have enough of those?" I told her I had no clue what those words could possibly mean. And she smiled. I'm keeping her! |
chicklewis | 24 Dec 2017 3:14 p.m. PST |
Yep, plays enthusiastically, doesn't paint her own figures or collect. We haven't married, due to two pensions which would go 'poof' if we did. So my definition of 'spouse' stretches a little. |
DWilliams | 27 Dec 2017 11:47 a.m. PST |
Sadly, no. She loves parlor games (like pictionary) but not tabletop wargaming. |
