Man, I love those Jovian ships. Though honestly, the forward hulls are big enough to have the grav rings inside, even the Corsair-class. A 50m centrifuge spun at 4.22rpm will give you 1gee, and 3.3rpm will give you 0.6gee. Now I need to talk Jav98 into making a nice open latticework truss about 50mm long (200m in-scale) to stick between the engines/reactors and the habitable section. |

Sorry these designs I don't like. I'll stick with the Yamato,Star Wars and Star Trek ships their much better IMHO. |

A larger ring spun slower is a better solution. Less chance of "space sickness" (motion sickness). |

Glad you like them too my friend!. Amicalement Armand |

@Starcruiser: True, but realize that the external hab rings are 285m in diameter on the Forge, Majestic, and Ypres. These are HUGE ships. And NASA seems to think that there is little chance of motion-sickness as long as you're turning less than 5rpm. |

285 meters…uh, yeah, those are big ships… And I like the idea of the long truss! They already fit well into my 'real enough' space tech style (see Irrational Designs for others), being able to give them the proper distace between reactor and habitation would be neat. |
