He was unsure if they are Front Rank.

Oh yes. Without checking, they are their standard cavalry poses

You only have to look at the (ill-) proportions and the poses, leaning back at impossible angles.

Look at the chap just above, to the right of trumpeter. Tell where his right arm is articulated, roughly near his waist, I think. The arm is thicker than his leg and knee to ankle he is a Hobbit.

But they are superbly painted.
