Has anyone tried Shooting Stars by Vandering Publications?

Despite the simple artwork, it seems ho have some interesting ideas. The game mechanics are pretty standard, but what's interesting is how they define differences between fleets, using cultural advantages and disadvantages.

Vandering Publications also produces Shipwreck, a set of modern naval rules that appears to be well received. I was wondering if anyone had tried their space combat rules.
