Been out of touch with FoW for a while.

Wondering if they ever did publish an EW book for the invasion of Russia, and if any of the books included the Italian forces that were present until Stalingrad.

I don't care if they're out of print…there's always eBay or a loaner.

Thanks!

Barbarossa covers the EW invasion of Russia.
Eastern Front (MW) features Italians and Stalingrad.

God only knows what strangeness they will commit with 4th ed. I'm sticking with 3rd. At least 3rd pretends to be realistic.

Technically Barbarossa (and some of the extra digital content) is still valid for V4….

… though I agree… I'm pretty much still firmly in the V3 camp…

Thanks – any Italian forces in the Barbarossa Book?

I'm not worried about the rules – stopped playing them years ago. Actually, everyone around here gave up with third, so it's pretty much a dead ruleset in the region.

any Italian forces in the Barbarossa Book ?

They're only to be found in online lists .

I am struggling to find much about early war Italians in Russia at the FoW website. Are there online lists somewhere that doesn't show up in the BF search engine??

Try

link

for history and

link and select "Early War" and "Italian" for the digital OBs.

Cheers,

Five lists. You can buy them for a total of 4$ (one buy will unlock two lists) in the online-version.

If you print the lists, they come with all special rules, so its usually worth it if you really want to field it.

FoW3-team here, too. "Complexity" of rules is not always a bad thing – depending on what you are looking for. If I want a simple rulese, I play chess… (or Tanks).
