Who would be interested in buying just the ship miniatures of the Star Wars Armada ships? No cards, tokens, base, or any of that. The sculpts are pretty good, and the paint jobs are more than good enough for tabletop use.

If there's enough interest quickly, I might put these up in the Marketplace.

Thanks!

I may be sir ☺

Cheers Matt

Yes, they are decent miniatures but I do not play Armada so do not need the other stuff.

Captain Gideon08 Dec 2017 4:46 p.m. PST

I also would've interest and since I've gotten several Armada type ships from Shapeways like the Super Star Destroyer for example over the last few years.

But I need to see pictures and also what are you asking for them?

Dynaman878908 Dec 2017 7:51 p.m. PST

No, but I don't buy the current ones either.

Not at any price, of course, but definitely interested.

Doug

Don't understand Dynaman's response. You don't play Armada, do you don't buy them now, and you're also not interested in just buying them miniatures?

Doug, you wouldn't buy them no matter what the price is, or you have some limit on how much you'd pay?

For pictures, it would be new in box, opened only to send it to you or to pull out the cards. Unplayed, essentially brand new.

I have tried Armada but also saw the use of using the ships in my fave spaceship game,Full Thrust. I find they are great minis, especially for being pre-painted.

captain Gideon, which Super Star Destroyer you bought? Am looking at one from Mel's Miniatures and would like to hear about yours please.

emckinney09 Dec 2017 10:49 a.m. PST

Imperial-class Star Destroyer
Victory-class Star Destroyer
Gladiator-class Star Destroyer

MC80c "Home One"
Assault Frigate Mk. 2 (this has become one of my favorite sculpts)
MC30c frigate

Millennium Falcon, Slave I, Punishing One, and other small ships from the Rogues and Villains expansion.

thedrake the Super Star Destroyer that I got was $242.00 USD and was the first one he did if I remember right.

I also ran a game at a local convention twice and it worked pretty good.

I got it in WSF which is the cheapest I could but I do like it.

If you like please email me at yamamoto87@hotmail.com I can send you some pictures of it.

@emckinney Sorry, am interested, limit to what I'd pay.

Looking at 50% of MSRP for the bare ships. You pay shipping.

Over all, love 'most' of SW Armada capital ship miniatures.

I have seen another post in the past, someone was giving advice on rebasing the mini's, onto more 'traditional' flight stand bases.

Shapeways has some great mini's for both SW's and BSG', but in most case's the cost is way out of my reach.

*Captain Gideon: "$242" for a SINGLE miniature? I cant imagine even considering that. BUT, to each their own.

There's an 'Alt' SSD that's over two feet long, and just under $360. USD That's a LOT of printing.

@emckinney Beyond reasonable, though in my case, slightly less tempting as my own discounts are close. Not AS good, so still of interest.

You should have NO problems selling buckets at that price point!

Doug

Edit: GAWD, I hate that automated USD tag!

Part time gamer yes it is a lot for one miniature but I didn't pay for it:) a very good friend of mine gave me the money for it,so for myself I was out nothing.

Granted it's not full size but it's still pretty awesome and I'm glad I have one.

Marc at work13 Dec 2017 6:50 a.m. PST

Why not just sell the entire box? Not sure I understand why you would split out the cards etc if you want to unload the ships.

emckinney14 Dec 2017 1:38 p.m. PST

Other people just want cards, and I'm trying to be nice to the folks who don't play Armada, but want to get ships.
