Digging for Britain is usually a BBC archaeology series, but on Wednesday 13th, 9pm, there's a special one the cavalry of Hadrian's Wall.

The trailer seemed to show a whole Turma's worth of reenactors training and fighting together, and for that alone, must be worth a look.

Yes absolutely- one to watch! The last episode was very good, too, with Vindolanda and siege works at Newark.

It was the big thing on the wall this year with the cavalry appearing across the summer at various sites up and down the wall

I was lucky to see them twice but I am really glad that the BBC are spending air time on them…..much better use of licence payers money than another cookery program!
