Digging for Britain is usually a BBC archaeology series, but on Wednesday 13th, 9pm, there's a special one the cavalry of Hadrian's Wall. The trailer seemed to show a whole Turma's worth of reenactors training and fighting together, and for that alone, must be worth a look. |

It was the big thing on the wall this year with the cavalry appearing across the summer at various sites up and down the wall I was lucky to see them twice but I am really glad that the BBC are spending air time on them…..much better use of licence payers money than another cookery program! link Chris |
