I am painting some carriers and light tanks for a friend and it would be nice to have the appropriate brigade and divisional markings on them. They will be 1/72 models. Fife & Forfar Yeomanry and the 1st East Riding Yeomanry both part of the 1st Light Armoured Reconnaissance Brigade. Which company (UK preferred) can supply decals for them? |

Hi Jim, All units of 1st and 2nd Light Armoured Reconnaissance Brigades carried a brigade marking of a "white number 2 on a black square". The unit marking for the Fife & Forfar Yeomanry was a "white stags head on a green/khaki square. I cannot find the unit marking for the 1st East Riding Yeomanry (it may not have had one?). |

Also it was common for all BEF armour to to have a small identifying white square on the front, back and sides. It served a similar purpose to the German cross or allies white star in 1944. |
