Perhaps a more enigmatic title than required, but I have had some deliberations on the Poltava battle as part of my Towards Moscow Trilogy project and how to best present it. One of the uncertain elements is how the Monastery looked (i.e what buildings were present) at the time of the Battle.

Here is my blog where discuss some of my thoughts at the end of the posting and incidentally leads to an overview of Eastern/Orthodox Churches in 6mm – rollaone.com/2017/12/06/100-years-of-finnish-independence-chain-of-command-glory-gaslands-and-stressing-about-poltava-1709

Perhaps someone here knows more, I have a way forward but perhaps there is a better one. All the best.
