Has anyone read this book from Daniel Mersey? Any thoughts on it as a decent newbie guide to the EIR and how to game it? (Even though it's inexpensive, I honestly do not need another unused book cluttering up my shelves. ;-) ) |

It's very good for the newbie. If you already have a library on Roman military history, I would suggest you pass. |

I've always been interested in Roman gaming, but don't own any books on it or miniatures. Sounds like it would be for me. |

My copy of this arrived today. Its very light on wargaming. For the life of me i cant understand why it doesn't mention anything about basing conventions. For the price its ok but to be honest your better off with googling specific information. |
