Seems to be lacking close-in air defenses. I don't see a CIWS or RAM/SeaRAM launcher. Could be hiding behind the superstructure on top of the helo hangar, though.

It also seems to have a small forward VLS, looks like ~32 cells. Assuming no Tomahawks, that's probably 4 cells worth of Sea Sparrows (16 missiles), 16 SM2s (or equivalent), and 12 VL-ASROCs. (Harpoons aren't VLS-capable, and I see their quad-pack launchers amidships anyway). I think I'd want another 16 missile cells, since the VL-ASROC is the primary antisubmarine weapon of a frigate, but the exact missile loadout can be whatever is needed.

Looks like a Chain Gun just aft of the Bridge Wing, so it's got OK defenses against swarming small craft (I'd actually want 2 guns per side on a frigate). As a side note, I'd want to upgun the CIWS to the same caliber as the Chain Gun, simplifies on-ship supply.

But it looks like a 57mm turret up front, and that's too small. I am aware that the 57mm Bofors throws an awful lot of shell weight per minute, but each shell isn't strong enough for anti-ship work.

So overall, I'd have to give this a C-. Barely passing.
