Very nice. Those clear bases sure look great. Definitely captured the winter feel with those!

Those look great!

I am going to start using clear bases as much as practicable.

For mother Russia!

very nice figures, but I am not a fan of the bases.

It's nearly the same crime against humanity as teddy bear fur terrain…

What colour did you use for the khaki?

Albino Squirrel06 Dec 2017 8:21 a.m. PST

I might be more motivated to help if you hadn't just accused me of crimes against humanity. But here is my painting process for my other Winter War Soviets: link

Lol!but I did say that teddy bear fur was the crime. This was just nearly as bad :)

Thanks for that. I particularly like the ones in the padded uniforms.

Do the clear bases slide about everywhere? Great paint job!

Albino Squirrel08 Dec 2017 8:12 a.m. PST

Of course the bases are very smooth, so they wouldn't grip on much of an incline. So if you have sloped hills or other terrain with an incline it might be a problem. Other than that it hasn't been an issue, though admittedly I haven't played any games with this particular army yet.

Thanks for that. They do look fantastic.
