I've just finished off the Sarissa MDF Chateau and used it this weekend for a game of Chain of Command set in Normandy. It coincided perfectly with my opponent completing an US Airborne platoon and I had some newly painted Foundry Resistance Fighters that I was itching to use. The Chateau building is Sarissa. The fountain, greenhouse and iron fence are Blotz MDF. The base is MDF and the solid stone walls were scratch built from cork floor tiles. The cobblestones are embossed wallpaper. For this scenario the Chateau housed a German HQ, something for the Resistance and the Airborne to eliminate (which they did). More images and a brief AAR at The Tactical Painter

Very nice job and good report. I must confess as an old staff weenie, I always have mixed feelings when the good guys shoot up a headquarters. |

LOL, we joked that the resistance were more interested in liberating the contents of the wine cellar, than taking revenge on the hated Boche. |
