Would anyone like to to join us for a wargames event at Arnhem next September? Plenty to see and do in the daytime and wargames in the evenings (Friday/Saturday/Sunday 21-4 September). We can arrange hotel rooms at a reasonable price and there's a charge of 45 Euros to cover the hire of the conference suite etc. PM me (without the '&' symbols) that & history & bloke@outlook.com if you want to come along. There's 14 booked so far and we want to restrict numbers to about 30.

Wargaming ladies may like to know that we already have two women joining the project and also that Arnhem is (or so I am reliably informed) a wonderful place for shoe shopping.

What rules and scale of figures do you plan to use? Also are commands allocated in advance together with a list of what figures to bring?

There will be more than one type of game going on – though all Market Garden -flavoured.
There will be moderately large (and some small) Bolt Action games, one of which will have a battalion (yup, seriously…a battalion) of 28mm British Airborne. My wife will bring her Germans (400+m and a couple of dozen vehicles)but you should feel free to bring your own kit too, but please make sure they are clearly marked on the underside of the base.
We hope to have a really brilliant 20mm layout for Rapid Fire as well and a big Flames of War table too, but they're not confirmed yet and we may well have a pre-publication outing for a new set of rules.

I will join with my 20mm Rapid Fire Arnhem game. Depends on how many players will attend, if i will set up the whole table or a part.
