LOVE the hats ! Speaking of hats, hats off to the lads who take the photos to document our hobby.

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated! The hats are the Stafford and District Wargamers who put on a fantastic 10mm ACW game.

Great show in a good venue. First time I have attended and I thoroughly enjoyed it; both the show and Colin Ashton's Franco-Dutch War 25mm game that I took part in.

Great show, improving every year.

Great show, with a few notable trade omissions. Still, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wonderful pictures, many thanks for posting.

@ Jarrovian: If there's any traders you'd like to see at the event, let me know. We've got 20 on the waiting list so there might be someone there who fits the bill.

Leon, I was hoping to see Irregular Miniatures and Old Glory UK. Anyone selling micro armour would also be a plus.

Very nice indeed

Take care

@ Jarrovian: Thanks for the reply, unfortunately not great news for those two! Irregular were cutting down on the shows so they stopped coming after the 2013 event and Old Glory stopped coming after the 2015 show. I've not got either on the waiting list I'm afraid.

For micro-armour there's not a lot of options on the circuit really, H&R don't do any shows I'm aware of and getting Magister to come this far north with the GHQ products might be tricky! I'll chat with them next time I see them just in case, but it might be a long shot.

My only missing trader was Lancashire games or S+A scenics.
All my other go to traders were present and correct!

After a day to recharge, we've put together our show report on this year's event, so head over and have a look! link We've already got some ideas for next year's event so it would be great to hear any feedback from the visitors.

Bellbottom28 Nov 2017 5:01 a.m. PST

Thanks for that Leon, I wasn't criticising, just wishing out loud. All in all an excellent show.
H&R has a lot on his plate at present, with family commitments, new website and increasing ranges. I understand he made it to Joy of Six, which is probably local for him. Even if he just turned up with samples of his range for people to view, and took orders at the show, it would be a help. Most of his stuff on the website isn't illustrated, and gamers often like to view before buying. It would save sending off for samples and then having to order later, after you've seen them.

No worries, I appreciate the feedback as we'd like to add traders who are going to bring something folks want at the show. I've added H&R to my notes and we'll see if we can sort something out there.

Captain Gideon28 Nov 2017 8:30 a.m. PST

I bet the pictures are great but sadly I can't see the pictures as I don't have or use Facebook.

Is there any other way to show the pictures?

Leon Pendraken Sponsoring Member of TMP28 Nov 2017 10:02 a.m. PST

The Facebook album is set to Public so they should show up OK for everyone? There might a 'Sign up to Facebook' type advert that appears at the bottom of the screen but once you click into the first picture, you should be able to cycle through them without any problem?

Captain Gideon30 Nov 2017 9:02 a.m. PST

Now it's working.

Leon Pendraken Sponsoring Member of TMP30 Nov 2017 5:17 p.m. PST

Excellent!
