Happy Thanksgiving to all! I have many reasons to be thankful, my faith, my lovely wife, my health and 11 months of retirement. Time for all of us to stop a moment and amidst the "sales" & football (not at this house) remember to be thankful for our life & liberty.

Yes, Happy Thanksgiving ! Especially to those like the military that can't be home. But I'm sure they still get a huge Thanksgiving Feast as I remember fondly. Whether from the Mess or MKT, etc.

It really is a wonderful holiday. I've always found that it's one of the things Americans living abroad miss most, and that immigrants to this country take to quickest; I knew an Englishman once who, after living in the States for a decade, said he couldn't think of a year without The Great Feast in November. A nice moment. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
