Diecast Prepainted Using this thread as a placeholder/teaser until I get my grubby little mits on it Friday … Wondering about scale? Could 15mm work? Guess we'll have to wait and see.
Oh, forgot to mention … I'm getting 6x of 'em … ,-) OOPS |

When I saw it in a store I thought to myself…."that would work as a 15mm Dropship……" |

That was my initial thought, too! But I don't have any atm. Off to Dark Sphere Friday then :-) |

I don't recall where I saw it, but IIRC, the the Revel kit one was about a foot long (maybe 1/100 or 1/72 scale?) and looked great with 28mm figs. My guess is that the 6" die cast will look great alongside 15mm figs. Good luck! |

The Revell sound&light kit is 1/100. |

C'mon guys! I said 6 inches! Stop going on about something a foot long! Damned size queens! It's enough to give a guy an inferiority complex … ,-) |

Where is this new Pelicans pic and info at? And yes, the Revell one is 1/100 scale. Got 2 of 4 thus far. David Woods, accomplished painter and modeller, recently assembled and custom painted one. Just finished selling it on eBay. It's a beauty. Grimm |

Regardless of the scale. I think that for 15mm wargaming, 6 inches may be better and definitley more manageable on the tabletop. |

Hi Golgoloth, I got the same ship to use for 15mm, it can easily work for 15mm, as its about the same size as the Rebel dropships. As a bonus, it reasonably painted too. Sorry for referencing my blog, but here's a link to pics vs 15mm figs and other VTOLs: link Here's another comparing it with one of the new Revell kits: link |
