Finally finished up painting the 20 or so figures from the Mice and Mystics boardgame. Nice figs even before considering that they came from a board game. Full gallery here… link … a few examples below. I rebased them on plastic bases with Death Ray Designs card base toppers and painted them with my usual fast dipping process. Rather pleased with the results. 3 of the 6 heroes.
A bit of conversion work on the 6 rats also courtesy of a bag of random skaven bits picked up locally.

Cool! I was considering painting mine over the holidays as well. And I like the rebasing, too- good idea. BTW, if you like the minis design, there's a KS game up that uses very similar critters by the same sculptor: link |

Thanks folks. Good to know about the "Dawn of Peacemakers" game. A bit over my budget right now and I'm not as into the "Mezo" look of the figs, but the sculpts are great and the game concept sounds like a really cool break from the usual. May have to keep an eye on that one. Wish I could just order those hero figs. |
