Anyone else see this C4 documentary?

Guy Martin, with the help of JCB among others, builds a replica Mark IV tank.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. A good balance of history, oily bits, techie stuff, and the story of how it was recreated. The finished tank will be on display in the Norfolk Tank Museum from next spring.

It showed just how sophisticated the engineering involved in building a WW1 tank was.

A thoroughly enjoyable TV programme.

Mostly I thought that it displayed how nobody has the skills to do it the way it was originally done any more.

It was a good deal more interesting than most of its genre though.
