hey folks!

I've recently go the new BFFv2 book (because I really enjoy RFF) and I've been looking around for some scenarios but coming up short. Any suggestions?

things I'm doing now:
converting some of my regimental scenarios to brigades and then expanding the game map to get to the right scale.

Brad Butkovich (of Historic Imagination LLC) resource of Antietam wargame maps in 25/33/and 50 yd scale is VERY useful! The 50 is basically perfect for BFF! please do another one for Gettysburg!

Brigade Fire and Fury? If a unit is a brigade, look at GDW's "Battles of the American Civil War." The book was designed for Volley and Bayonet, but should be a good starting point for any unit-is-a-brigade set of rules.

There are two scenario books already published for the old Brigade rules. Great Western Battles and Great Eastern Battles. Currently, the former is undergoing a redesign to fit the new rules. There will be numerous new scenarios added to the book. Eastern will follow.

thanks for the help fellas!

@79th PA; yes Brigade fire and Fury. Thanks for the idea, I'll try to find it.

@ACWBill; yes, but one cannot buy the older scenario books anymore (or I would have). I will though definitely purchase the redesigned ones when they come out.

Brad has done the Gettysburg book….!

"Charge" which you can pick up at the Wargame Vault had quite a few scenarios that can be shifted over to Fire and Fury (generally for Regimental – but some of the larger ones can be done at the Brigade level

Historic Imagination also did publications for the Battle of Atlanta and others (mostly at Regimental level)

Potomac Publications also on Wargame Vault has a half dozen or so booklets for Brigade and Regimental actions

There's a healthy and growing number of ACW scenarios available in the files of the BBB Yahoo group – and they're all free, so help yourselves:

Bull Run
Champion Hill
Shiloh
Chickamauga
Gettysburg (all 3 days)
The Wilderness
Spotsylvania
Nashville

In some of these the base unit is division(+) rather than brigade, but you might still find them useful.

thanks everyone! it's not so much the OOBs and such but really it's maps with the proper ground scale (or at least close to the proper ground scale).

@londonplod: I know he did a scenario book, which I have and it's great, I would like him to do a book of just maps of Gettysburg like he did for Antietam….Mr. Butkovich, if you're reading this… : )

I might do a Gettysburg Wargame Maps in the future. However, I didn't begin writing the scenario book with that in mind, so I didn't really format my map making to turn it into a map book from the beginning. It will take a lot of work to cobble everything together, for honestly not much return on the investment in time. The thought of having to redo all those fence lines makes me shiver.

I have a couple of home made scenarios using OOBs generated from the pick up game section in the BF&F rule book in the Scenario section on my blog (found in the right sidebar). They include Maps and unit labels.
