Dear Experts,

I was hoping to get hold of a pair of M3 Lee/Grants in 1/72 and then scratch build new turrets to convert them into Canal Defence Lights which I thought could be fun.

I don't really want to buy the (in my experience) fiddly Hasegawa kit and spend hours putting together bogies and tracks. Does anyone know of any fast assembly kits out there or cheap resin models? It seems odd that I can't find any quick Lee/Grant kits.

Help much appreciated,

Peter

You could try Butlers Printed Models. No fuss and clean looking 3D models.

I'd never heard of them before, I'll have a look. Thanks

there are non as yet, maybe psc or armourfast will do one, would be useful as we make the cdl turrets and arv conversions.
what about the diecast ones?

I don't know why but I can't help feeling that diecast is betraying my Airfix kit roots. I think I'm making life hard for myself!

Milicast do cdl in 1/76.
They would presumably be the only grant like tanks on table.
