Have others accused you of being a wargaming diva?

Im overweight and can't sing all that well. Heaven knows, I've tried.

Cacique Caribe15 Nov 2017 7:57 p.m. PST

Dear God no. Nothing should be that serious around a gaming table.

Cacique Caribe15 Nov 2017 9:01 p.m. PST

Ditto! :)

Dan
PS. Then again, this isn't a wargaming table.

How does one become a "Wargaming Diva"? Because I so want to be famous and rich, while yet fashionably snotty to everyone.

It begins by wearing a fat opera lady outfit (complete with horned helmet) to a miniatures' gaming convention … and then act like you own the place. The rest is pretty much all downhill from there. Loud singing helps too. And some dancing.

PS. The ballerina outfit is also a winner, as long as you act spoiled and stand-off-ish. It's all about playing the part.

I hope you appreciate the trouble I went through to find those creepy pictures. :)

I host and run a lot of games.
Do I insist on good sportsmanship? Yes.
Do I insist on painted miniatures and terrain? Yes.
Do I insist on players stay reasonably focused on the game? Yes.
Do I insist players have a working knowledge of the rules?
Yes.
Do I shut down ignorant talk and attitudes if/when they crop up? Yes.
Am I open to other games and game systems? Sure. But if you're at a game I'm running, this is what we're playing.

Does that make me a Diva? Maybe.

No – The language used for things I HAVE been accused of would set the bleep-o-matic on fire.
