(Or figures with long coats that could easily be converted to lab coats)

These are scientists I already have:

Blue Moon have a Frankenstein set, that includes the good doctor and Igor (pronounced, of course, as "eye-gor"), as well as other fun stuff.

Thanks. That's right!

I forgot about him, and about their Dr. Jekyll set. I need to get my hands on both of those.

What about Mike at Rebel miniatures in Chattanooga?

Now you have me looking through Rebel's stuff. Do you recall which set?

Dan
PS. The "Gun Clerics" and some of the "Black Widow MERCS" could be painted in white coats:

Weird, I was just looking at Rebel Minis last week and he had them…

Some of the civilians with jackets can easily be painted as white jackets. But I could have sworn he had some fleeing scientists in the zombie area.

Was it one of the ranges that Rebels and Splintered Light swapped, perhaps?

Are you thinking of the doctor from Rebel Minis Hospital zombie set?

The good Doctor and his….helpers in his…. Experiments?

Perfect as experimental subjects, or as a scientist who got a little too careless with the infection. :)

You can also convert your own, like I did with my AA/Brigade penal legion .Simple tissue paper with liquid poly or white glue.

Wow! This was really done with paper? How does it hold up to handling once painted?

Thanks for updating the pic & link Dan. For some reason i can't do that from my Android tablet ( Win – Android compatibilty issue ? )

Yes simple tissue paper flooded with Revell Liquid glue or Superglue or Pva will make it hard. Fiddly to make but do-able if built in strips , piece at a time. Cut straight lengths with a sharp scissors, glue the first strip, wait until it hardens, then continue from there. Once hard trim to shape/size with scissors.Add paper belts etc.

Handling is good.Tissue paper is made of tiny fibres & this gives it mesh like strength. Tarpaulins & bedrolls are even easier to make.

I think that fatigue wearing minis are great for conversions. Brigade Uk has these & the tank crews.
I was thinking of doing some Kkclan like ones also, using this method.
