Have to question their use or uselessness. Just my opinion. |

Flash – was that a joke, or do you remain blissfully inaware of the bug? The time stamp alone should have set your bat-senses atingle Curious Tyler – maybe to paint and collect, maybe to ring the changes, maybe to slot into the units just because. |

Sorry but as I said .. just my opinion. I need soldiers not window dressing. |

I have to agree with you. These are simply ridiculous figures, that just reinforce stereotypes of we folk who wargame or instead count uniform buttons (I am the latter). We are not all overweight weirdos, who cannot relate to the females of the human species, but must instead dress badly and spend too much time on this Internet thing (a passing trend). At least these lasses are not (half) naked. Those figures I will again ask, would you be happy to have your wife, daughter, girlfriend, know you were even looking at such miniatures? Get a life gents (I know I will regret posting this tomorrow, but we had the three sons around tonight. It was a good evening and 'er indoors will put me to bed shortly) |

I saw a photo of the Kings troop RHA in the paper recently, which judging by the photo now consists mainly of women. Arguably these miniatures are just re-imagining the modern military in Napoleonic times. |

Never drink and post Liam. Sage advice. I have no problem with these figures or the more salacious ones available. I haven't painted any for many a year as I am too busy with more soldiers, but I don't regard the artists on CMON who do such great work as sad. It is just fantasy. And for a long time, the female form has attracted artists. Check out any news paper and tell me that you cannot find pictures of women in provocative clothing – normally pop stars, but the Evening Standard normally finds something for the business pages even now |

I am shocked at the suggestion that I was inebriated or even fissed as a part when I composed my missive…. I was in good form or "tired and emotional" was the British Press phrase many memorable years ago. I'm not convinced, but that's me. I think model makers and Wargamers have an image problem….I used to invite student nurses to see my Finnish aircraft collection in my on call room in early 70s. Some were impressed…by the hakaristas I hasten to add |

Could not agree more with Deadhead first post. |

I really don't understand what the problem is. These figures are just miniatures of women in Napoleonic uniforms – what's so ridiculous? Compared to hussar dwarf zombies riding pigs and other such fantasy nonsense, they are positively mundane. |

Good point Lambert. It's not like there are no historical precedents for females in uniform. Still, of very limited use Imho beyond the odd vignette or similar. |

I am neither offended or annoyed by the figures but have no interest in buying them. Now the camp followers are a different matter. In a skirmish game they and a baggage camp could add flavor. The side they were associated with would object to them being carried off. In Spain they could be part of the resistance. |

I agree with Liam that wargamers have an image problem. Sadly, miniature females or not, I can't see that changing any time soon. I can live with it 😀 |
