The zombies show up in the most surprising places. Games can be played coop against a common, easy to manage foe. Lots of head shots. You have to decide to fight or run. It ain't always the zombies that get'cha. |

7th Va Cav likes zombie games because he always shoots me in the back. You don't have to be the fastest human alive, just the 2nd slowest. |

The ability to play solo. Admittedly, my character will almost always die by the second game. I've been a fan of zed films and novels for a while. The feeling of impending doom Zombies are easy to paint in mass, and are forgiving of mediocre paint jobs. The ability to use many of the survivor, police, and military figures for a variety of genres besides zombie apocalypse. |

A fan of the films and video games (Left 4 Dead) Coop play (although some players are more hostile to their buddies than others) Surprises (at least in my games) Solo play helps to playtest |

First off, I second 'Zephyr1's' opinion! Dynaman8789 Its mindless fun. #2 But also a love/hate if you play a campaign game. Love: Having 'characters' in the games give it more of a feel of 'reality', brings the game more too life. (ok sorry, for the pun there) Hate: When one of your favorite characters gets killed during the game. #3 Ya never know whats around the next corner, on the other side of that door. #4 You can out run them, (if they are only shamblers) #5 You can play as one team or each player can play a different group of survivors (some nice..some not so nice), Spec forces or surviving police teams. |

No background research is necessary. We all know what a parking lot, street, convenience store (etc.) looks and acts like. For uniform details, look out the window. ..no pesky organization charts for either side. Oh, yeah, the fun thing too. The best rationale of all. |

The relentless, moaning, shuffling, patroling, noise attracting, shark-like undead data. You don't have to believe the data. You just have to test it. |
