After sitting in its box in my attic for 25 years, I've finally assembled and painted my Space Marine Razorback!

Whirlwind is next!

I just prefer to think that in the 41st Century, sensor and sighting systems are so sophisticated that it really doesn't matter what color you paint your stuff, the enemy will still detect them. How's that for an excuse? :)

Well … I've heard it before … so … wink

I've got one of those and it is in a camo paint scheme. evil grin And have many, many platoons of them in 6mm. In various tactical/camo colors … E.g. my Ultramarines are in a Luftwaffe blue-gray …

alpha3six17 Nov 2017 10:41 a.m. PST

I painted some of my Epic Ultramarines tanks in blueish camo as well back in the day, namely the command tanks. It was truly a different era.

Yes. Back when the (yuk) GW hobby was truly your hobby. Now it's just what they tell you it is (meaning in public, GW stores, events their media). I don't see the staff doing half the cool and fun things they used to. It's all very controlled now.

(I said yuk as I don't like the term, it's miniature war gaming. We don't require a new hobby name for each brand, thanks very much.)

As for everyone seeing everyone in 40k. There are stealth suites lictors and such. How they can't make a simple device to detect lictors I'll never know.

Oh. As for the rhino. Looks great. As they say. If it ain't broke. ..

All my SMs, etc. are in Tac/Camo colors … And that is the way I like it ! evil grin
