First try at the Tipooh Sultan himself. Going to have a go at different headgear more reflective of that worn by the Tipu.

However I feel torn between the quest for historicity and just what Pooh Bear's concept of the Tipoo's head gear might be…

Had this one brewing for some time now, finally time to act.

Prisoners of the Tipooh often languish in his dungeon for hours before being unexpectedly bounced by Tigger.

in fact the Tipooh is absolutely obsessed with Tigger. His finest troops, the Tiggerotters are dressed to invoke the the great bouncer.

I now have three 20 figure units of Tiggerotters, and a mounted officer, which can serve as one 61 figure Charge! regiment if desired.

There are also a host of irregulars to flesh out the force.

I have a heffalump awaiting a howdah, that can either serve as mount for the Tipoo or a light artillery platform.

I thought about trying to pass off the otters as "woozles" but that might be a stretch :)

First go at historical head gear. Way off on the proportions, and not sure I don't prefer the other better as what Pooh would think the head gear should be.

Thoughts?

That is great!!

I like the first rendition as to me it evokes the "imagi-nation" theme so well.

Pay tribute to the Sultan with some pots of hunny!

A worthy opponent to the Teddy Bear armies. Great fun.

@Buck215 Although there are those who claim the Tipooh's war against John Company was the first native Injian resistance movement, and there are those who claim the Tipooh was an evil despot in need of replacing, most serious students of the conflict see it as a dispute over central Injia's lucrative, and scrumptious, Hunny trade.

@All Thank you! Will post some standards when I get them done.
