"Blue Moon Manufacturing 28mm Castle Review?" Topic

Hello,
I have been looking at the Blue Moon Manufacturing line of 28mm castle but can't find any reviews or even pictures of it "in the wild".

Has anyone purchased this or seen it? The website doesn't even have multiple angle pictures of each product. Some of the pieces say they are painted but the pictures look pretty bland as well.

Anyone know of another similar style modular castle set offered by other manufacturers?

I assume you are referring to the modular "Starter Castle," as opposed to the Dracula's castle. I saw one at the Fall In flea market and came danger close to buying it. If I wasn't in the process of getting out of 25mm fantasy I would have. I didn't know who made it at the time, but I recognize it now from the pictures.

It's gorgeous. It's all cast in a sort of plastic. Think Reaper Bones like material, but a somewhat heavier consistency. I didn't see any part of it painted and I don't recall seeing the gate with it.

I have both Dracula's Castle and the starter castle. they are both made out of high densidy Foam. there nice one piece models. although draculas castle has some lift off room and some tower portion have lift off roofs. the basic walls are nice. primed grey. one day I plan on repainting them to match other terrain I have. I own some MBA castle pieces, and the Blue moon pieces are larger and lighter. personally I think the Blue moon Castle are the best value castle on the market but not the nicest, unless you put some time in them to jazz them up.

I have seen , in the flesh, the Dracula castle.It is spectacular.
