Are they the same scale as the prior metal miniatures?

Looking forward to these being available via retailers…!

They are exactly the same size. I will be putting some size comparison pictures online soon.

My Kickstarter set arrived yesterday. Awesome plastic Ogre goodness, and a great set of figs; you can easily play the classic basic scenario out of the box.

The Kickstarter for Set 2 will be announced on Monday. Signs point that it will include super heavies and mobile howitzers (as these are in the Ogre Miniatures Lite rules included with Set 1, but not in the set). I'm hoping it will either round out the Paneuropean forces with light tanks and light GEVs, or give us the Combine counterparts to Set 1.

I just need to find/make a suitable Ogre play mat…

More on what to expect in Set 2: link

So yes on the supers and the mobile howzes. And a Fencer (maybe two?)!
150 minis, it says. That leaves potential for light tanks and light GEVs, and/or Combine counterparts.

Potentially steeper entry cost, alas, but a good lot of minis.

I picked up two sets which arrived this morning and they look AWESOME! I'm really looking forward to digging into these babies.

Looking forward more so to the future possibility of Combine vehicles.

While we're on the subject, does anyone make Paneuropean or Combine insignia decals?

The KS is not doing direct shipping outside the US, SJG doesn't want to charge the actual [huge] cost of shipping or take a loss. If you check the FAQ though, they are offering the KS bundle to Europe as a pre-order through Warehouse 23.
