Just wanted to describe my experience with NavWar. I'm living in Germany and prior to my dealings with NavWar did not possess a credit card. Reaching Tony on a saturday by phone was no problem, we had a really nice talk and I closed saying that I'd "get an order out real soon". Going through payment options (sending a bank note, traveler's cheques or well, a credit card) I finally landed on the latter. All that took some time to arrange, but lo and behold: I sent the letter with my order (~60£) and a post card on a thursday. After a slight delay due to my bank, payment was deducted the day before yesterday (wednesday) and the models arrived today (friday), along with a handwritten note by Tony. I'd heard about the great service and quick delivery times, but this is just amazing. Will surely order again and can only recommend the shop! Definitely worth the "hassle" of sending a letter to order. ;) best regards |

Tony is well known for being an 'old school' mail-order retailer and he has the art of it off to a T. Few online retailers can match his turnaround time. |

Its how we used to do it.Waiting a month for an order was no real big deal, and if you wanted to complain there was no instant gratification. You had to write a letter and take it to the post office and then wait some more. Barbarous times. |
