So, today I ran empty of my Reaper Ghost white paint. It's my shade in my white triad.

This is a problem. I have 6 French infantry to paint to finish my battalion. I might MIGHT! Squise enough out of it to finish those six but after that it's no go.

I'm doing many units at the same time, the previously mentioned French infantry,(and more French infantry) French artillery, Prussian grenadiers, Russian dragoons and I was about to start on russian grenadiers.

I can still do Prussians and French artillery as they have just a little white and I have other grey/white I can use for shade on belts and stuff.
But for Russian and French infantry with quite a bit white I have to wait for my resupply.
A very first world problem I know. But I was looking forward to painting some green russians after having painted 24 blue French infantry, 12 blue French artillerists and 6 blue prussian grenadiers.

Breath through it, man! Character building when building characters, even in 28mm! While you wait for your Amazon Drone to deliver your Reaper Ghost White stare at these:

Of course this is a "first world problem". What sort of problems are we supposed to have? Soldier on with your good work.

Well I could have gotten a bout with cholera

Can't you just mix a little blue into some white, till it matches?

Gunfreak Supporting Member of TMP09 Nov 2017 12:22 p.m. PST

Can't take that chance!

I get the feeling you're a lot more particular than the original cloth makers.

It's because I like the results I get with that triad. It's the best white triad I've found in my 9 years of wargaming.

Just 9 years?! HA! Give it 40 years & then see if you're so picky! Just pick a bottle of White & soldier on…

This is my thought too. I am lucky if I get the same shade just to refill my brush, let alone matching whole units the same.
