Hi
I decided to back this project

link

Since it's really great value for 120$, over 400minis…Really don't see where else you can get this much stuff, of great quality for this Money.

Rules seem solid, but I might wanna dive in something more deeper with a friend too later on.

Do you have any rules recommendations or Systems that are considered good for medieval 15mm?

Thanks

Kind regards,

Igor

I am waffling on this myself – the issue is that the bases are round so it will likely need to use sabots for a multi base system like Hail Caesar (which I what I am thinking).

I am debating getting Legendary Battles as it will give you two good sized 15mm 100 years war armies but I am unsure if I will really use them.

I suspect the base set doesn't not have enough to make a big enough matched set of armies.

I'd be tempted to use something like Hordes of the Things. You can then use the angels, demons, dragons etc.

You could use the historical stuff for L'art de la Guerre. It has a fairly small model count compared to other big battle games. Has the same problem as the others with needing rectangular bases.

@Tod

With 15$ base add on you do get enough bases for everything they add in form of streach goals. SO with it you should be set on that matter. That's what I am taking.

Close, but my mantra kicked in (Bones IV, Bones IV,…)

Fallen yes I am with you there for the bases Fallen – planning to do the same thing. My debate is around Legendary Battles – they have a lot of extra figs in there if you want to do historical battles.

This is in number of bases in the base and the Legendary Battles (dropping anything that is not in multiples of 4). I am not convinced the extra figs are worth it outside of the same so I will likely stick with just a Core set.
