I am looking to finish my Bavarian army and need limbers. I know that Perry and Lancaster make them. Also the old Connoiseur line had them. Does anybody else make a Bavarian limber? |

I would opt for the Perrys ones, state of the art. |

A few years ago I ended up using Foundry Austrian limbers and head-swapping the riders. I now need/want two more limber teams and I'm going with Perry. No-brainer for me. |

My problem is how I have done my limbers in the past. I have the foot batteries with only one 2 horse team and the horse batteries with 2-2 horse teams. It gives my a visual difference(and is cheaper). Well I use Old Glory figures mainly and they will sell me just the limbers so no problem. I asked Perry's if they would sell just the limbers but they won't. If I go with Perry's I will have a lot of riders left over. What do you think of using ox teams for the siege batteries? |

Stick with old glory then |

Old Glory doesn't do Bavarians unfortunately |

I doubt any miniature manufacturer would be interested in your economy mission tbh, it costs a fortune to sculpt mould and cast limber teams etc and you sell very few. |

Another vote for the Perry range. |

If you are only using 2 horses, I would have thought any limber would do, painted light blue. But it is your hobby. Why not go Perrys and sell off the surplus horses to those gamers who like 8 horse teams? |
