A big thank you to the Antwerp Tin Soldiers for the usual excellent show, slickly organised and as friendly as ever.
Thank you!

Dear Leon,

I am trying to decide which Shows to visit next year.
How do you rate Crisis compared to Salute?

Regards

Mick

I am quite surprised that no one has put a load of pics on TMP from "Crisis" yet.

Sorry I didnt have time to get pics I'm afraid but they will be up soon from someone I'm sure…………takes time to clear the Leffe from the blood stream…………..:)

Mick,
I'm afraid Im a bit biased. I had to give up Salute as a Trader some 5 years ago as I just couldnt stand the venue and the appalling traffic control which meant I ended up waiting from 4.30 till 6 to finally load. Its got better Im sure.
Some punters seem to really like it but it deos give the impression ( and I stress its an impression I havent been as a punter)as being a show for the big boys companies with sci/fi/fantasy element being in the ascendency.
I'm sure others will have a completely different view.

Crisis is still despite its size still a very friendly show, european gamers seem more enthusiastic and less 'jaded'. You have the time to chat a little and see some different things.
Antwerp is a really nice city with lots to do and the perfect long weekend trip that takes in a show.
Beer and steak frites rather good as well ( hic……….)

Someone described Salute is a hypermarket frenzy with a wargames show atattched and Crisis a wargames show where you can buy lots of stuff.
As always in this hobby you can choose what you want out of it, good init?
