Hi all, What, if any 'Golden rules' do you apply to Horse and Musket warfare? I would start with some of my favourites: (1) Cavalry should always be attacking or retreating, never standing in proximity to the enemy. (2) Always have a reserve. (3) Place your artillery where it will do the most good! (4) Never deploy in or behind difficult terrain unless you are defending it! (5) Ensure there is good co-ordination between Horse, Foot, and the Artillery. Any more? |

8) Don't fight the Russians. It always ends in tears. |

If you can't see the enemies hussars, look behind you, they're sneaky. |
