Excellent write up. I saw you and your daughter and all I could think of was the pirate game at The Weekend and her going "phew phew phew". That was great. I think everyone who attended had a wonderful time. If the dealer hall is any indication of the rest of the renovations, they're gonna knock this out of the park. |

A great write up and it sounds like you are doing the parenting thing right. As for Ihop…that used to be the place I'd go during Little Wars at the old location. Seems to be a staple for what I need…. |

Interesting to see the venue that has caused so much discussion. Fall In is the only US convention that I have been to, 10 years ago, when it was at Gettysburg. I didn't stay at the venue so I can't compare, but from the pictures I think the gaming space at Gettysburg was better. Glad you and your daughter had a good time. |

And once again, the sight and sound of young gamers enjoying the hobby is refreshing and reassuring to us dinosaurs who are delaying our extinction until the new dominant species gets a firm grip on things.
I even made a half-wish that we should have enough youth in the hobby to occasionally wish "that all those darn kids could have fun without so much noise!" |
