Nifty. I notice you've gone for a darker green than contemporary paintings show. Is there a positive reason? This isn't an entirely idle question, since I've just painted them in 10mm myself, and suspect I need to lighten their uniforms. |

These sharpshooters are 28mm but are still a bit dark. It might be the camera settings. Portraying them in 10mm will need a lighter shade of green anyway as smaller figures need more highlighting. |

I'm always surprised how miniatures appear different when photographed… On the pictures they look almost black, when they are dark green in reality. I should have painted them in lighter green anyway… Thanks for your comments ;-) |

I've highlighted mine in a lighter green a bit; marked improvement. |
