Does anybody make 40mm to 50mm Viking or fantasy figures? I bought the Norse Gods set from SHQ but I'd like to add to the four gods (Odin, Thor, Sif, and Loki) they have. Grelber |

Elastolin are 40mm to the top of the head. Based mainly on the Prince Valiant comic strip. Look on Ebay for them. Also Expeditionary Force makes 40mm Vikings and Saxons, pre-painted plastic. |

I've also seen some by NorthStarModels on ebay. Based off of the Vikings tv show. |

In addition to the above, if your not opposed to a little home casting, Prince August makes molds for a range of 40mm Vikings. link These are full 3D figures, NOT their usual semi-flats, and they're pretty good. They would definitely work for some extra rank & file mixed with some of the better pre-cast options. Also, seriously consider Nick's suggestion of the old Elastolin figures. Those were, and are, excellent figures that also convert easily, and they are now made out of modern plastics instead of the old composition product. |
