I am attempting to post some pictures of my 1914 Russians vs. Germans in 6mm Baccus. I based the units for BBB, and each infantry/cavalry unit is equivalent to a division. Overall, the game was a success. The Russians are converted 1914 British, and the Russian 76mm artillery is the 1914 Baccus French 75 artillery with the tip cut off (looked enough like some 76's I saw in Europe last spring. Hopefully this works. Enjoy.

Germans attacking Russians on the edge of the woods. The woods were made using the methods shown in the website for the ACW 'Altar of Freedom' rules. We'll see if this works. If it does, more later. |

Looks like it worked. Thanks to 'Extra Crispy' for the information on Sept 12 message board. I often use 3mm buildings now for my 6mm miniature games. |

Wow, really nice looking! I also have started work on those Altar of Freedom forests. Great idea! Thanks. |

Thanks for the info on the forests. How about something on the explosion markers please? A link to how to make would be great. Thank you. |

Steven. Looks like large "Bump Chenile" from a craft store that has been cut into 2 bump sections, then twisted or glued in the middle between the bumps. Wish I had thought of that! v/r Tom |

That's what I thought. Just curious about details. |

Dye4minis is correct. I took the while 'bump chenille' pipe cleaners, cut them in half. I put a pile of construction adhesive on a base and stuck the cleaners into them. Then later, I flocked the bases. They went quick. I really like the look of the forests as well. More pictures down the road. |

Looks good. Did you do your own modifications for BBB? |
Joe1870 | 07 Nov 2017 7:07 p.m. PST |
No, I used the modifications from the Yahoo website. |
