I am looking for a recommendation for a set of rules to game Modern aerial warfare (e.g. F-14, F-15, F-16, F-18, versus Mig 25, Mig 29, Mig 31, etc). I would prefer the rules to favor gameplay over a high degree of realism (i.e. simpler versus complex). Topside Minis has just released a large number of 2D tiles representing these various jets and so it motivated me to look for rules to game with these tiles. What say you please? Thank you in advance for any help. |

I'll agree with the first two posters, it sounds like AirWarC21 is what you're looking for. We've played a number of games from different eras with them and they always play quickly. We recently played a Falklands game with the rules. You can see some photos from the blog post (scroll about halfway down the entry to see the photos). link Check posts with the Label Air Game for some other photos. Dave seanavalgazing.blogspot.com |
