It doesn't delve too deep in the subject -more theoretical than practical-, despite her author's claims on the contrary. Still it is interesting. Thanks for sharing. |

Surely any investigation of sexual attitudes amongst soldiers in the Napoleonic Wars cannot be other than theoretical? It struck me that the author would have found much more material had she consulted the numerous memoirs by British officers and men. |
