Kind of an odd request. Trying to find a suitable line of figures for survivors of the 1845 Franklin Expedition -- the poor guys trapped in the ice while searching for the Northwest Passage. I'm thinking the look would be something similar to the retreat from Kabul in the First Afghan War or even the retreat from Moscow. Bundled up figures with tattered clothes, blankets, overcoats, hats, muskets. Looking for 15 or 28mm options. Assuming that there's probably not much out there that works, but wanted to throw the question out there. The idea is for a horror gaming scenario based on THE TERROR by Dan Simmons. Bonus points for suitable Inuit figures. Thanks all. brian |

Copplestone – now through North Star, I think – do Inuit armed with bows and spears in 28mm. Can't help you with the ship's company unless you could bundle up some Empress New Zealand wars matelots with green stuff or you could possibly use some of the Foundry mountain men. |

Pulp Figures has a few options. I have used Northland Adventurers PYP02, Mad Trappers of Rat River PYP06 and Tree-Line Tough Guys PYP07. I have also seen a few figures that look like Macready and Childs from the John Carpenter movie "The Thing" but I can't remember who made them. All figures mentioned are 28mm Phil |

Lol altfritz! I meant temporary survivors trying to walk south from the trapped ship. Got a laugh out of your post at my own expense! |

Check out the Foundry Mountain Men. They are wearing blankets and furs. Eureka USA has Innuits: link |

Some Alamo defenders might be appropriate as well. |
