Hi all, we've just launched a new Heroines in Sensible Shoes project, to fund some more female RPG minis. KS Link: kickstarter.com/projects/oathsworn/heroines-in-sensible-shoes-3-miniatures-for-rpgs We've got the first five minis sculpted so far, and we'll be sculpting at least 7 more throughout the project, taking input and suggestions from the backers… So far, there's a firbolg druid, tabaxi and kenku rogues, a minotaur barbarian, and a hobgoblin eldritch knight. After consulting with our previous backers, the the most popular suggestions are – another tabaxi, probably either a monk or wizard; a tiefling wizard, and a tiefling paladin; another kenku (probably a magic user of some sort); a dragonborn paladin; a tortle (no ideas on class or equipment yet!); and finally a human barbarian, heavy, powerful build, but not lean. That list's not set in stone though, so if you have any suggestions, please let us know! The tiefling paladin's almost done – I should have pics of her tomorrow… cheers Michael

I have the figures from the first two kickstarters and they're great. My grand daughters loved them. |

Thanks Glenn! :) Another sculpt finished – apologies for the poor photo, the light's terrible here this morning…

But several of them aren't wearing any shoes! |

'Heroines in Sensible Hooves' just didn't have the same ring… ;) The range as a whole is 90% sensibly shod. |

Two more minis finished – a kenku / tengu shaman, and a tabaxi… maybe a monk, bard or mage, depending on what you want to do with her; I tried to keep the look as open as possible!

Thank you! :) I'm currently busy sculpting the Kitsune; I'm hoping to finish her today, but there's a lot to do… After the Kitsune, I'll be moving on to the final model of the Dozen; the voting was close – 17 votes for the Tortle, and 21 votes for the Halfling knight riding a Mastiff. As I said before, I'm still a bit unsure that I can sculpt the halfling on mastiff properly; so here's the plan; I'll try to do it. If it doesn't work out, I can always switch to the tortle instead! Now on to the important bit… Freebies! Jo's been busy sculpting three pieces of dungeon-dressing; coin-bags, a trapdoor, and a pile of books. They're 25mm across, so as to fit the common 1 inch grid that most RPG floorplans use. She's going to cast them in resin, and every backer will get a set added to their Pledge for FREE!
cheers, Michael

LOVE, the halfling knight! Especially the dog, his face reminds me of my old buddy champ(gone a number of years now) but that was his expression to a tee. As if to say, "Uh…what are we doing, and why?" |
