They do look a bit better than the americana ? More poses would be nice ?

Thanks for the update. The poses still look very crude to me. I wonder why it is so difficult to get some sculpt like the quality of what Marx did back in the 60's?

Your guess is as good as mine. Several of the BMC sets had sculpting that ran from mediocre to poor. The D-Day soldiers and Alamo Texans come to mind immediately. The Iwo Jima figures are their best ,and they are copies licensed from King & country.
