I have always admired the true stories of women in combat. They were not trying to "prove" anything regarding feminine roles in the military, they just saw a problem and took it upon themselves to solve it by doing their part in a war/combat situation. Of particular admiration were the Russian women, who were tankers, snipers, etc., who were not necassarily fighting for Communism, but fighting for country against invaders… |
