I'm interested in figs from Casting Room Miniature's "Rebels & Rioters" group -- MOBXXX. Knowing Foundry's earlier figs are smaller than current "28mm" figs (Perry, Eureka, etc.), can anyone tell me how these figs compare? Thanks. |

I'm not familiar with that particular line, but I can say from experience with other CR lines that they are definitely bigger and bulkier than "classic" Foundry minis. I hope someone will come along and give you real confirmation. |

big bad chunky monkeys, way too big and crude. I know because I sculpted most of them! |

@ThreeArmies -- thanks for the info. Sad to hear but…I need some armed civilians for a French Rev War game and these are the best I could find. At least they won't be too puny next to other figs. |

big bad chunky monkeys, way too big and crude. I know because I sculpted most of them! Hey, I really like the Marlburian line. I have quite a few for Pikeman's Lament and other similar-scale gaming. Fun to paint, good variety in the packs, and they really stand out on the tabletop (in a good way). The Elizabethans look really great, if I could find a good excuse to get some. But yeah, IMO, there ARE some lines I, um…am not too crazy about. |
