After a break I would like to get back into gaming and my first project will be the 3rd French Armoured in Normandy. Whilst I still can't decide on the scale, my research has shown that heller do a lovely Sherman M4a2 with French decals (20mm) whilst in 15mm PSC make a good aM4a2. So far I've not been able to find decals for this scale but have in 1/87.

Do you think that would work or would it look silly? Or should I
Just go for 20mm? I'm looking to make a company's worth of infantry and space is a premium.

Cheers

If you look at the photos of tanks in the VFW book on the war and the official photo history then you will notice that the size of the Star was not uniform. Oversized stars was common on the turret for aircraft recognition. As was emblems for both sides on captured vehicles.

1/87 decals work fine on 15mm vehicles, I use them a lot.
Some of them are actually smaller than some of the flames of war ones.
