An excellent review. One question – are these new rules exclusive to the Republican period or can they be used for the Imperial phase as well in other words the entire war? Regards |

They can be used for the entire war, and I think Bruce is coming up with fast play sheets that make them useable for 1866 and 1859 as well. |

Thanks Mollinary. We had a couple of serious attempts at 1870 but gave up eventually. We got bogged down in the micromanagement of what we thought was going to be a high level game. 1871 sounds promising and I think I will check them out at Crisis in Antwerp next week. Regards |
