Each column could move 1BW (Base Width) per bound through the river for zero pip cost. This is similar to the continuation of movement on roads for zero pip cost. That left the actual pip score for each tribe, the Carpetani, Olcadian, and Vaccean, available for the formation of battle lines on the opposite bank. A similar system can be used for Hannibal's opposed crossing of the Rhone River by the Volcae. |
